The real issue is that I have been unable to register or access any of the written stories at KentuckyInk. I've tried different screen names and passwords and e-mail accounts. I never receive feedback ... and I continually receive messages such as:
Welcome, Guest. Please login or register.

If I try to login, I get the following:
You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login.
Followed by
"Incorrect username or password. Please try again."
If I try to register, I receive the following:
"The username/password is already in use. Please try again."
or
You are now authorized to view this site. (Or something similar).
Then when I try to read an article, I receive a blank page.
A few minutes ago, I registered as hbird13 ... I was told I was authorized to view the sources ... but no luck yet.
Try the log off/log on thing again. You can also go in under the user menu and change your name to whatever you want. Pretty neat feature.
If that doesn't work, let us know.

| Good golly .... I think it's working!! Maybe the "log off/log on" suggestion was the ticket. Regardless, it was nice to finally read some of the articles. Thanks for the help!!

I got the email to change my password but when I try to log in with it, I get "incorrect password".
I even tried to copy and paste it exactly as my email had it but to no avail...
Help!

Try to log off and log back on. Let me know if that don't work

| I registered at kentuckyink.com too and get the same error messages. When I try to log in, I get message that either my password or screen name is wrong. If I try to re-register it says I'm already registered. If I try to have password sent, I get a "no corresponding user" error. None of the things mentioned here have helped Sent two emails over the past 3 days to ask for help and have not heard from anyone.

First of all, are you using the same email address you registered with? Second, are you using the same name? Did you ever get the password email? Let me know and I'll see what I can do. Don't share pertinent info on the board, PM me if you need to. Will be out most of the day, but I'll be home tonight to help.

Yes, I'm using the same email I registered with and the same name and password. One of the pops up I'm receiving when trying to register all the same info again tells me something to the effect that I'm already registered with that name and password. So it seems I'm in your database somewhere.
And to answer your other question, no I have not received any emails back at all. Even when I checked the box to have a copy of an email sent to myself, I didn't receive it either. I thought maybe something was wrong with that email address so I sent myself an email from another address and did receive it.

Do you have a spam/junk filter on your email. If you do, check your junk folder, or go in and put in that email from ukinsiders is okay to receive. Depending on what email you use (hotmail, yahoo, etc...) on how to do that. If you're not getting the email at all, I'd say this is the issue.
I have word out to all mods over there to check in here today and try and help.

I don't get much email at that email address--spam or otherwise. I've only had 2 spam messages all week.
I've tried clearing my cache, clearing cookies, leaving the page and coming back later etc. It seems as if I am registered but usages are blocked or something. I am not very computer savvy but it seems as if I don't have permission to use certain features on the site maybe.
Please dont' spend too much time on this for me as I'm sure you will get it worked out eventually. Thanks again for your help.

I'm having difficulty logging in on Wildcatinsiders.com. I've always been registered on Wildcat Insiders, even before the merge. I have tried using my old password and the new 8-digit password, but neither allow me access to the forums. Surpisingly, I am allowed to login in on Kentuckyink.com with my old password.
I have also tried to register using a different username and password, but that hasn't been successful either. Help!!

you may have to register your name on UKinsiders. I don't know how it worked w/already having a KYink "membership". I PM'd one of the Rays to have them check it out.
