New member here.
Found this site via Matt Jones' blog and since I like what fuckface has to say, thought I'd register. I don't think fuckface and Matt get the credit they deserve for posting FREE info regarding the Cats. Further, I am SICK to death of TCP and all the hatin' that goes on there. Lots of good posters such as Dep, BKH, etc but the flamers and gestapo have really turned me away.
I am originally from Kentucky and have been addicted to UK basketball since the mid-1960's. Been lucky to see some of the greats play from Issel to Tay.
Thanks for creating this site and I look forward to being a member here!!!

UK-hoops-aholic here and signing in. fuckface said he thought it would be fun to have all idiots contribute to spice things up.
Being the biggest idiot I know , I figured he was talking to me personally.
Born in Ky , moved to California , still BLEED BLUE. LOVE KENTUCKY HOOPS with a passion that my wife says borders on insanity...(after 14 years together , you would think she would consider us normal now)
Here from CATSPAUSE site as i always enjoy reading fuckfaces post...now I can get UK hoops straight from a source and have a few laughs as well.

Born a cat fan and will die a cat fan! Born in Lou. and bleed blue. I'm a assistant hs coach in this area. Seen and played against some good ones. Basketball is a passion to me. I like to read about recuriting.
I'm looking towards the future of UK basketball. I thought the former coach was a good, but his recruiting was sporadic. IMO, He could manage a game and coach D. but, I grew tired of watching UK's offense. IMO, you should adjust your system to the teams strong points. Anyway, enough with the past and to teams starting to fear playing UK again.

Hey Edge - I believe I'd rather give MM the 9.95 than TCP. I see lots of people on this site saying the same thing I did: TCP sucks assssss!!!

I'm 48, born/raised in the Pikeville area. Divorced for 10 years. Have worked in the oil and gas fields for the past 27 years. Been a UK fan as far back as I can remember.
Now that we have a new coach, I'm as excited about the program as I've ever been. Hate to wish my life away, but am really looking forward to the upcoming season!

| Hi, all. I'm xgrunt, a tired and partially worn out ground-pounder in Viet Nam. I've lived in Ashland for 30 years. I'm retired from Marathon-Ashland, having to retire early because of heart trouble. I've been a Cat fan as long as I can recall. I'm 58 now.

Hey yall, I'm Marty Caudill. I live in Eastern Ky. and have been a UK fan since I was old enough to know what basketball was, 32 now. It was breed into me as my father,, grandfather and pretty much all of my family bleeds blue.
I work for Consol of Ky and work in the lab for them. I do analytical work, as in run test's on their coal to check sulfer, ash, stuff like that. Pretty much work 6 days a week and on call the day off, but still manage to make time on here at least 5 hours a day.
I attended Knott County Central high school and graduated in '93. I then went on and got a degree in heating and air conditioning which was a waste of time,, lol. Worked about 4 years in the field. The highlight of high school I guess was that we made the state tourney in 3 of the 4 years I attended, actually 3 straight years,, '91, '92 and '93. IIRC we won one game outa the 3 years. Lost to Corbin in '91, blew out by Franklin Simpson in '92 and '93 we won one game,, Corbin maybe? I am also distant kin to the legend of the state tourney, and high school basketball in general, King Kelly Coleman.
I could go on and on but I will stop at that. If anyone needs any help on here or needs to ask me a question, you can Email me, always willing to help out any way I can.

| Hey yall, my name is Cumberland. I live on the KY/TN line. I am currently having my way with The Chosen One's fiance' and she is NOT going to marry that pompous ass. I have worked at a sawmill all my life, I like ice cold beer, and I smoke cigarettes. I have the "Stars and Bars" on the front of my pick up truck, and if you don't like it, then kiss my rosy ass. I have 5 dogs. 2 Rotweilers, 2 Dobermans, and 1 Pitbull. The one Pitbull is to keep the others in line. I have a old rusty fridge, stove, and a half way decent couch on the front porch. An 82 Oldsmobile on blocks in the side of the yard, and a 76 Camaro on blocks in the front yard. Had to put the Camaro up front for status purposes. My grass is about 2 foot high now as I haven't mowed it yet this year. I save beer cans as a hobby and they are piling up on the other side of the house. I just throw them out the winder. I have a dam big satellilte that is about 10 foot across and I can get some good tv. I have it near my house, but on someone elses property. My ideal of getting out is to take a shower on Saturday and going on up to Wal-mart that night. I can buy some really good stuff in there, plus, look at the women. Anyways, I am glad that Tubby Smith is someone elses problem and I am looking forward to BillyG taking us to the promised land.

Hello, I'm Allie. I have been a UK fan for all 33 years of my life. My brother and I are both UK grads. Our parents and grandparents are huge fans so it's deeply ingrained into our psyche. (Ooops... maybe that's too big a word for you guys! hehe!)
I come from a very superstitious family when it comes to UK basketball. During highschool, I once spent an entire UK Basketball season standing in the computer room of my house. The logic was that the team did better whenever I left the room. So, when the team was doing poorly I would be banished from being within feet of a tv or radio. Nowdays, we have a UK garden gnome. If we're doing well, he gets to watch the game. If not, he has to stand facing the wall. I'm glad my family has transferred their aggression to the gnome instead of me. I will still need several years of therapy to recover, or so my therapists say...
Anyway, I have a 2 year old who loves to watch his Baby Wildcat video. His grandmother gave it to him as an Easter present. You should check it out- waayy cool! (Teambabyentertainment.com) I am married to an IU grad but have converted him to a UK fan. Yes, it is possible to rehabilitate those suffering from that terrible disease! Thank goodness it's not hereditary like the big blue version!
So- that's me. I'm a lurker. This will probably be my last post (or at least the longest!)

Names Jon. I post here and on Jones' site.
Full time student at UK, getting ready to transfer to Morehead. Mostly here cause fuckface's posts on matt's site, and the fact that anonymous poster piss me off. A bit cynical, a bit comical, and an ass load lazy. I hate school, but I'm doing it cause the only thing worse would be working 50 hours a week.
If i say something smart ass to you here, I say it to everyone. I can take it, so I deserve to give it. If you get easily pissed, well you're probably still on Matt's site.
Live in Lexington, and if i'm not talking about poker, UK sports or Fighting, I'm likely not awake.
Seriously though, this is the gayest thing I've ever written, and I wrote an Elton John biography. Couldn't you have just sent us the queer little "Hello, My Name is..." stickers. This is gayer than the time all the gays had Gay sex in a gay sex factory in the middle of Fagville, Ohio. I'm gonna have to duct tape my ass shut tonight in case fuckface trys starting another thread like this. Not homophobic, just really scared of gays. You might call it a fear of homosexuals. IDK, maybe.

My name is Chris. Several of you guys already know me from WI so this is for those that don't know me. I joined this site as soon a fuckface started it but I didn't start posting until he pulled of a coup and brainwashed everyone from WI convincing them to come here. Now fuckface has a cult following like David Koresh or James Jones. He'll have us all drinking cyanide laced drinks before long.
I grew the only son of two UL fans. I have liked UK since I can remember but I started watching every game during the '86-'87 season when Rex Champan was a freshman. I went to Georgetown College, lived in Lexington for 10 years, then moved by to Georgetown last year because I work for Toyota. I'm 32 married, (going on 11 years) have two sons, and I like movies and hard rock music. Oh yeah, and I am a college football junkie. Having serious withdrawal symtoms this time of year.
Go Cats!!

| Hey xgrunt, I'll be 58 in 2 months and I was drafted in 1967. They said I had a heart murmer (sp) and sent me home! When I got back to Paducah I had all kinds of test done and couldn't find any problems!. But now I've had 2 heart attacks and open heart surgery in 2001. A loyal Cat fan for over 50 years!!!

| 4BarCat, I made it to last summer before I head open-heart. I have a little pain once in a while. So far, one nitro has been taking care of it.
