| Names Eric. Love UK. Roomate is a Louisville fan. Once a year we beat the crap out of each other while watching the game. Its quite a spectacle considering he is 6'4" 320 and I am no where near that size. I'm thinking of selling tickets next year. Anyone interested?:uk005 Last edited on Wed May 23rd, 2007 07:02 pm by GibsonSGMan

| Hi! I'm Ken and post as KMSBball. UK fan since I attended the 1958 Championship game in Louisville. Have been a paying member of the "Fellowship of the Miserable" (UK football) for many years. Not quite so miserable these days. Will "lurk" a lot and comment from time to time. Belong to several other Premium sites so I have a big time UK habit. I live in Crestwood and travel the state for my job (sales).

I'm Floridacat, retired in Florida but I was born, raised, and rased my kids in Frankfort KY. I'm 59 now but when I was a little cat, I would sit on my Daddy's knee and listen to UK basketball games on the radio. We get most of the games down here in Southwest Florida but I miss my friendly home folks and going to Rupp!
Thanks MM & UKuncensored to help me keep up to date on what is going on with our WILDCATS! :uk058

My name is David Money, I am 26 years old. I work for Sysco in Louisville where I live with my hot UK fan Chick. I am a part time student and part time @$$hole but a full time UK fan. I am getting maried to my beautiful chick within the next year (who for some reason does my laundry and me) we have a fourteen month old son together and if he turns out to be a UofL fan he will be out of a home. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candle light dinners and the gentle caress of.... ohhhh sorry wrong thread. Anyway I am very easy and a easy going person and love to bull$hit about most anything so if I offend anyone on this board at any time then.... Fuck You J/K. I am glad to be a member of one of the best boards on the web! I cant stay mad at any of you guys for long because we all are here for a common cause and I like that. I am a no name on the back of the jersey kind of guy. Here is a link to my little place on the web its kind of a hobby for me and a few of my buddys arguing about college teams. Thanks guys nice to meet all of you.

I've been a UK fan all my life. (60 Yrs.) My dad played on Coach Rupp's first team, and I played football at UK from 1964/68. My dad, wife, son and myself are all UK graduates. I met Coach Rupp when I was 8 or 9 at a 25 year celebration for Coach Rupp and all his players. Since that day I've been loyal to UK and the passion of the UK fans. My dream was to play basketball at UK, but a 6'4" center didn't make the grade. I love the message boards and most of the post. I'm set in my ways and it's UK or the highway.
MM, thanks for all the recruiting information.

Sam. UK fan since the 70's. 12 yrs old at the time. Lived thru some tough times and some very good times. Haven't been this excited about UK B-Ball since Pitino left for the NBA. How Ironic it will be forever tied to Donovan leaving for the NBA!! :uk002

Somehow I missed this thread when it was started, but since it just popped up on the "Recent" page, I figured I'd do my duty and report in.
I'm Shawn Wilkie. Married 12 years, with three kids. (5, 3 and 8 months) Grew up in E-town, and was the valedictorian of the last graduating class at East Hardin High School (1990 - the year before they opened Central). I live in Indianapolis now (5 years) and Louisville for 8 years prior to that. All the Hoosier fans here think I went to UK because I'm such an obvious fan, but my loyalty comes from just growing up in the state. (I'm sure some of the rest of you can relate to that.)
I still remember exactly where I was when Laetner hit his shot in 1992 - 14 of us crammed into a small room at my fraternity (Sigma Nu) at Bradley University, with half of us cheering for UK and the other assholes cheering for Duke. A little piece of me died inside.
I lie to DISH Network and give them my in-laws address in Lexington as my service location, so I get the Lexington local broadcast channels here in Indy and can see every UK game (including Big Blue Madness, etc). Yes, it's a sickness.
I was lucky enough to get my name drawn in the lottery and have season tickets to men's basketball. They're upper arena, but they're in the damn building.
My screen name come from the fact that I really enjoy Kurt Vonnegut's stories, and it just seemed fitting since I now reside in his home city. By strange irony, the building where I work (for an ad agency—I handle the Steak 'n Shake account) is an old school designed by (and named for) Clemens Vonnegut, Kurt's grandfather.
And as some of you know, my eldest daughter does the world's best rendition of the UK fight song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3oO0vyZmg0 I know it's true because mm said so. :uk026

I'm Bill. I was lead here from HOB where I've use my buddy's password to lurk on the premie board for 3 years:uk028. They say confession is good for the soul. I'm originally from Mt. Sterling, Ky but I just bought a house on the Gulf Coast of Florida. The only things I miss about the BlueGrass State are Ale-8 and The WildCats.
I was a Tubby supporter until we lost to UAB when we were favored to win it all. I washed my hands of him after that.
I have never really posted on a sports site. I've only participated in music sites since I fancy myself a musician. But we'll see how this thing goes. I like what I've seen so far, better than KSR and TCP.
Oh yeah, Ron Paul for Prez in 2008!

Jim,
You are to be commended for your priorities. I'm proud to know that someone a little older than me stills loves southern rock. Rock on!
