| Hey everyone, my name is Brian....I post pretty often at TCP so you might recognize the name. But, both my parents went to UK so I have always been a fan. I enjoy expanding my list of usual forums to include this one and talking hoops.

Hi all, my name is Joe, and I am a... wait, no I'm not, they won't let me drink here in Iraq...:uk090
I have only been following UK BB seriously for a couple years, since I did ROTC there. Grew up in KY, but never cared much about sports. Now I'm in Iraq, and have nothing better to do. Sitting here guarding 16,000 little yellow guys isn't all that interesting...

Hi everyone, I am Kyle. Tomorrow I turn 26. Originally from Carlisle, KY (Nicholas County...about 40 minutes from UK), I now live in Nashville, TN.
Last year I married a girl I met at GSP between my junior and senior years of high school. She is originally from Scottsville, KY (right next to MM and Glasgow).
I graduated from Centre College in 2003 with a degree in religion. I have a master's degree from Vanderbilt in Theological Studies and am still at Vanderbilt working on a PhD in Religion and Medical Ethics.
The only Vanderbilt sporting events I attend are the baseball games and football/basketball games when UK comes into town. I could never bring myself to root for Vanderbilt basketball, even though I've tried.
That's me.

My name is Boyd, and I grew up in a small town called Grayson (in the Ashland area). I grew up bleeding blue, and my brother (who also bleeds blue) and I both graduated from UK. Our Dad, who is no longer with us, taught us the value of being a UK fan. As long as I can remember, UK basketball was a main topic of conversation in our household.
I live in Los Angeles now (close to the Marina), work in the field of Finance, and enjoy the SoCal weather, but occasionally miss my roots in KY. I go back once a year at Christmas.
If you ever need someone to evaluate talent on the West Coast, I would be glad to lend a hand LOL. I wish I could say that I was responsible for UK landing Tayshaun Prince, but alas, I have no connections other than my love for the Big Blue.
I have this site, KSR, and Sea of Blue set up as favorites. The first thing I do every morning and the last thing I do every night (with sporadic checks throughout the day) is to check each site for updates.
Thanks to everyone involved for keeping us informed. It's great to be a part of the BBN!
Boyd

| My name is Terry. I live in Bowling Green, KY. My main claim to fame was being first in line at midnight madness in 1994. 80 1/2 hours seems long but we had a blast and beat the Indiana Vanlandinghams, who had the record for several years. I like getting togther with other cat fans and watching the games at the local watering holes here. I do tend to get a little rowdy though and been known to cuss the tv so......Great site. Keep up the good work and I appreciate all the info that you guys pass on to us concerning our cats.

I absolutely love that I can't keep up with everything going on with this site! I've posted a few times already, but just saw this thread, so I figured I'd jump on board...
I'm Greg, 32 years old, UK class of '99(yeah, I was on the "extended program" and proud of it:uk044) Originally from Louisville, but now reside in Cincinnati. Lifelong Cat fan despite growing up in a family of UofL fans! Not sure how it happened, but probably by the grace of God. Can't wait to see what BCG has in store for this season!!!
fuckface, thanks again for all the hard work and info provided!

Hi the name's Tim I work in New Orleans, live in Houston and look to these forums for some fun and info. I have a beautiful wife, grown daughter (Rice Grad) both of whom are way smarter then me but they keep me around for laughs.
I now know way more then I need to about Jason and as for KB getting paid to post, prolly true Maggard has to get posters someway.
I would suggest that people coming into this particular forum not be too thin skinned and you might send maggard some butch wax for his hair.

OK, here goes,
Mostly a lurker but have posted a couple of times on TCP. Grew up in & again live in Paducah. Work at a racetrack(yes, we have one). Married, 3 kids (oldest daughter-senior @ UK). Husband works overseas, currently in Kazakhstan. Sometimes a lonely life, but WAY less laundry & WAY more autonomy!! (I hope I spelled that right!!). Grew up with a HUGE stuffed bright red GA bulldog at the foot of my bed, but thanks to my uncle (UK grad) & the grace of God & marrying a UK fan I saw the light & bleed only blue.
Went to college at Murray State & got one of those useless do-gooder degrees. Hence-the racetrack!
I am on this site for fun & info. I don't post much cause I'm the OTHER fan with no sources & my technical knowledge is a little lacking. My love for the game isn't! Looking forward to it----!!
PS Does anyone know when midnight madness will be? (3rd Fri in oct??) I think my husband might be home on leave then & tryin to plan!
& as to the future-Thanks for puttin up w/ me!:uk041
